about
Invisible Day is about a desire to find safety in the dim darkness of not being seen. Of making oneself so small and so quiet you could maybe disappear. But in the smallness and silence there is wonder and an opportunity for discovery - an imaginary place where you are the observer; a place to plant new seeds for growth and evolution.
lyrics
Maybe I don’t want to be seen or be heard-
I want it to be an invisible day
Without making a sound or saying a word
Like a thin wisp of smoke I would fade away
Fade away, fade away ….
A ghost without form,
Not a puppet on strings-
I would float easy, then gone like smoke rings
Hovering, surrounding, no one would suspect
My presence unnoticed I’d have no effect
Fade away, fade away -
An invisible day, yeah, eh
I’m a dreamer, I’d say yeah!
An invisible day, yeah, eh,eh
I just wanna see truth-
Without those lies in the way
I’m a fly on a wall,
I see and hear all -
Then I could escape
And not have to partake -
In mindless chit- chatter
And talk that is small -
But focus on things that could cause me heartache
I need to avoid-
The shame in the faces,
I see like a mirror - reflecting my own -
Disappointment, filling the empty spaces -
The places I’ve gone leave me nowhere to go
Fade away, fade away …
So wanna crouch down - turnaround,
Hit the ground, close my eyes, face the wall
So I wanna crouch down - turnaround,
Hit the ground, invisible to it all -
Disappear - not be here - just until -
All is clear …..
An invisible day, yeah, eh
I’m a dreamer, I’d say yeah!
An invisible day, yeah, eh,eh
I just wanna see truth-
Without those lies in the way, eh, eh
I’m a dreamer, I’d say, yeah!
An invisible day, yeah, eh, eh
I just wanna see truth-
Without those lies in the way
Sometime I suppose, I will have to come back-
Reappear and take form - materialize
And until once again, I fade out to black
I will simply daydream and just fantasize
Fade away …. Fade Away……
